Liufeng Mountain Scenic Area

Liufeng Mountain Scenic Area is located on the bank of Mingjiang River in the center of Lingshan County, Guangxi. The county is connected with Hepu County, Pubei County, Yongning District and Heng County. It is 107 kilometers away from Qinzhou City, 200 kilometers away from Beihai City, and 150 kilometers away from Nanning City. G209, S20124 and S20221 are respectively run through the foothills of Liufeng Mountain and the traffic is very convenient.

Liufeng Mountain Scenic Area is mainly composed of six peaks including Longtou Peak, Fengwei Peak, Guibei Peak, Heli Peak, Baozhang Peak and Chongfeng Peak, covering an area of ??540,000 square meters. The highest peak is 343 meters above sea level, and the relative height is 182 meters. The old trees tower here, the scenery is beautiful, and the air is fresh. Odd rocks, winding paths and towering peaks are like the dragon to dance, the phoenix to fly, the turtle to bend or the crane to erect, having the tendency to climb the sky. The ancients claimed the six peaks as "Half of Wu Mountains".

Liufeng Mountain is well-known in Southeast Asia, especially for the men and women who claim that the Holy Spirit of Liufeng Mountain can manage Southeast Asia. Like the old saying goes, no matter how high the mountain is, its name will spread far and wide if there is a fairy. Liufeng Mountain gathers Buddhism and Taoism, therefore, believers often come and incense is often prosperous.

After investigation and statistics, there are more than 300 existing stone carvings in Liufeng Mountain Scenic Area. Dated from the Northern Song Dynasty to the Republic of China, the forms include titles, inscriptions, poems, and so on. The contents relate to rectification, economics, military affairs, and culture, becoming precious cultural relics of social history. Among them, the place with the largest number of stone carvings is Sanhai Cave in Liufeng Mountain Scenic Area, with more than 150 pieces, all carved on cave walls. All of them are masterpieces of famous celebrities and are of high artistic level and historical value.
